Who is Bocholter Wassersport Verein
We, the triathlon team of the BOCHOLTER WASSERSPORTVEREIN (Bocholter WSV), reorganised ourselves at the end of 2023 and have made some changes since then.
Together with strong partners, the aim is to make the sport of triathlon regionally more present and to make triathlon attractive as a popular and competitive sport, especially for young athletes. As part of the BOCHOLTER WSV club with more than 3,000 members, we have an excellent basis for this, with around 150 active triathletes aged between 10 and 70 years.
As the triathlon team of the Bocholter WSV, we compete in four leagues (one women's team, one mixed team, two men's teams) and in the NRW Triathlon Association's junior cup. We also have several youngsters in the NRW state squad.
In addition to our own sporting activities, we have been organising the largest triathlon competition in the region for more than 30 years - the Bocholter Aasee- & Schülertriathlon - with over 1,000 participants. This major event offers an extensive supporting programme for all Bocholter and has a great appeal far beyond the region. We also organise the Bocholt New Year's Eve Run with 1,500 participants.
What were the needs and challenges you faced before working with us?
The main need is to have a partner providing a long-term partnership/portfolio, offering flexible/wide customisation, a full triathlon-specific sports wear portfolio, and good quality/functionality/price performance.
If you previously had another supplier, what was this like?
We had different suppliers/partners for different sports wear, e.g. tri suits, cycling shirts, socks, over the years. The problem was that different suppliers meant no uniform design, and sometimes difficult to reproduce over the years.

Trisuits, cycling shirts & jackets, running shirts, pants & jackets.
How did you find the process with us, and what was the highlight?
Outstanding - initial get-in-touch process (sample delivery, pricing, speed of feedback), design process (quick understanding of our ideas, speed of feedback), team webshop (in-time setup, payment handling), delivery always on time (or even earlier).

Combination of triathlon portfolio size, functionality (samples are important), the competent and speedy communication & feedback (from the whole Trimtex/surpas sales, accounting, design team), quality/functionality/price performance - we assessed also other potential partners with better pricing but in the end it was the "whole Trimtex/surpas package" for our team members. We are supporting the prices in the team webshop with our income from the triathlon and running events we are organising. Doing that, we can offer the best quality/functionality/price performance for our team members. Also, we have to say that we are big fans of Kristian & Gustav and had an Aero 3 before ;-)

What feedback have you received from members?
The very high 1st order is speaking for itself, PLUS everybody is using the sportswear as often as possible, especially in competitions and group training sessions.
