What challenges did you face before choosing Trimtex?

We’ve worked with Trimtex since 2016.
Before that:

  • Quality issues with both seams and colours – different deliveries had inconsistent colours.
  • Deliveries were always delayed.
  • Orders were delivered unsorted to the club, meaning we had to manually sort and distribute all the clothing to members.

Why did you choose Trimtex?
A great salesperson who offered improvements on every point.

What do you order from us?
Mainly clothing for triathlon, cycling, and running. We've also bought buffs, hats, etc.

How do you find the experience of the purchase process?
The fact that orders are shipped directly to our members makes a huge difference. We open a shop with you, members place and pay for their orders, and receive products directly from Trimtex without our involvement. Even returns have been handled directly between you and the members, and everyone we’ve heard from has been satisfied.

“Trimtex sticks to their delivery times and offers great products at a good price.”

– Lars-Erik Larsson, Chairman of Kalmar RC Triathlon

How have our products helped you perform?

I’m not sure how many watts you save with your clothing compared to competitors, but everyone feels as fast as they look.

What has our concept meant for the club/company?
The direct-to-member ordering concept saves us a huge amount of time as a volunteer-run club. Yes, we still need to open the shop and select products, but we don’t have to handle every single order. Delivery precision is excellent – orders usually match exactly. It’s also great that we as a club can set our own prices in the shop and subsidise specific items or product ranges.

What feedback have you received from members/employees?
Good fabric and seam quality – the products last.

Of course, there’s always room for improvement – like the leg pocket (similar to Fusion’s), which you’ve now added to running tights, but it’s missing on tri shorts that we train in a lot. Also, tri clothing could sometimes use an extra fabric layer to protect the zipper from rubbing during long races. Many of our members race Ironman – we have the most Ironman participants in Sweden.

How would you describe quality, fit, durability, and price level?
Good quality, strong seams. Normal fit, and always very clear descriptions – like "Extreme Fit" – which are well explained for those who read. Pricing is at a standard level.
